Jordie Weich

Bio

Associate Professional
Teaching Experience - 5 years

Jordie was introduced to golf at the age of 8 but didn’t start competing until he was 15. He has always been passionate about playing the game and finds no greater joy than heading out onto the course to try and better himself. It was because of this that he decided to enrol in Lethbridge Colleges Professional Golf Management program after finishing his Business Diploma at Red Deer College. He served as Captain of the RDC Kings golf team for both years and managed to lead his team to Bronze Medals both years in the Alberta College Athletic Conference Golf Tournament. Jordie also played for the Lethbridge Kodiaks during his 1 year at the college and received a Bronze Medal with the team there for the ACAC Golf Tournament.

Jordie has previously worked at the Innisfail Golf Club for 6 years, starting as a cart boy and working his way up to apprentice professional in the 2012 season. Over the course of those 6 years he was able to form many positive relationships with Innisfail members due to his exceptional dedication to member services.

Jordie is excited to greet all the members again in 2017 at Earl Grey Golf Club.
